Feature release roadmap

  • Collaborative Feature: Shared Auralizations

    Ready and Live

The ability to share an auralization experience with a collaborator, both inside and outside your organization.
  • Generic geometry import (dxf)

    Live Beta

This feature will give users the ability to import a file directly from the web application and create projects, spaces and models directly. With this feature the user can upload a DXF file and get instant feedback on the geometry, such as where the holes and problematic areas are for the wave-based solver.
  • Collaborative Feature: Shared Materials and Source Library

    Ready and Live

The ability to share your materials and custom uploaded sources with your colleagues.
  • IFC import and automatic geometry simplification

    In development

With Treble Acoustic Simulation Suite, you will soon be able to import Industry Foundation Classes (IFC) files into the acoustic simulation software. The import feature will automatically recognize the spaces inside the IFC model and prepare a model that is ready for acoustic simulation for each of these spaces.
  • Collaborative Feature: Shared Spaces

    In development

The ability to collaborate with your colleagues on designing the acoustics of spaces in treble. With this feature you can add your colleagues as members to your spaces, making them able to create new models and simulations, modify them and view the results.
  • Summing Sources

    In development

The ability to join the response of multiple sources for results processing. This will allow you to accurately model the interaction between loudspeaker and other sources and enable a lot of interesting use-cases.
  • Summing of sources

    In development

The ability to join the response of multiple sources for results processing. This will allow you to accurately model the interaction between loudspeaker and other sources and enable a lot of interesting use-cases.
  • Treble SDK v2

    In development

The Treble SDK version 2 will launch with more features to be announced soon.
  • Q1 2024

    Transmission modeling

    In planning

Treble will soon be able to conduct simulations of sound transmission through single walled geometries. It will be used to predict how much sound will be transmitted from one room to another. Transmission modelling will be available for both wave-based and geometrical acoustics simulations.
  • 2024

    6DoF auralization

    In planning

6Dof auralization will allow users to move around in a virtual acoustic environment and perceive the sound as if it were coming from different directions and distances. The sound will be rendered freely across the listening plane, with no discrete points
  • Custom STI

    In planning

The ability to input a custom background noise level for STI calculation.
  • Material generator

    In planning

The material builder feature will enable an additional, more accurate way to create your own materials in our acoustic simulation software. In the builder you can specify the properties of each layer of the material build-up through a simple interface and quickly create an detailed model of the acoustic properties of materials. You can use the feature to explore materials that you don't have absorption data for, but on of the main benefits of using it will be that our wave-based solver and pressure based geometrical acoustics engine can uniquely take advantage of the more detailed material model, resulting in more accurate prediction.
  • Sound-field animation

    In planning

Visualize the pressure wavefront animation propagate in real-time on a predefined surface receiver. This feature will allow you to see how sound waves propagate through a space and interact with objects in that space. It is a powerful tool for understanding how sound behaves in different environments.
