Feature release roadmap
Generic geometry import (dxf)
Live Beta
This feature will give users the ability to import a file directly from the web application and create projects, spaces and models directly. With this feature the user can upload a DXF file and get instant feedback on the geometry, such as where the holes and problematic areas are for the wave-based solver.IFC import and automatic geometry simplification
In development
With Treble Acoustic Simulation Suite, you will soon be able to import Industry Foundation Classes (IFC) files into the acoustic simulation software. The import feature will automatically recognize the spaces inside the IFC model and prepare a model that is ready for acoustic simulation for each of these spaces.Collaborative Feature: Shared Spaces
In development
The ability to collaborate with your colleagues on designing the acoustics of spaces in treble. With this feature you can add your colleagues as members to your spaces, making them able to create new models and simulations, modify them and view the results.Q1 2024
Transmission modeling
In planning
Treble will soon be able to conduct simulations of sound transmission through single walled geometries. It will be used to predict how much sound will be transmitted from one room to another. Transmission modelling will be available for both wave-based and geometrical acoustics simulations.Material generator
In planning
The material builder feature will enable an additional, more accurate way to create your own materials in our acoustic simulation software. In the builder you can specify the properties of each layer of the material build-up through a simple interface and quickly create an detailed model of the acoustic properties of materials. You can use the feature to explore materials that you don't have absorption data for, but on of the main benefits of using it will be that our wave-based solver and pressure based geometrical acoustics engine can uniquely take advantage of the more detailed material model, resulting in more accurate prediction.Sound-field animation
In planning
Visualize the pressure wavefront animation propagate in real-time on a predefined surface receiver. This feature will allow you to see how sound waves propagate through a space and interact with objects in that space. It is a powerful tool for understanding how sound behaves in different environments.
